Jill Ann Cook

Jill Cook's work tip-toes around ideas of domestic space as a site of potential violence,  infiltration, fear, secrecy.  Her work concentrates on physical memories in which the past trespasses into the present moment: a wave of nausea, a pang of loss.

Cook graduated from Rhode Island College with a BA in Art History and a BFA in Painting.  She is currently pursuing an MFA in multi-disciplinary art at the Vermont College of Fine Art.
